Nicole Carrubba, Principal and Founder of Captivate Communications, has an extensive background in marketing communications, project management and product development.  In addition to her experience in a variety of industries, Nicole has specific expertise in brand development, transformations and integrations and has been a driver of several companies’ newly acquired product portfolio integrations.  

Nicole also has particularly strong expertise in the legal marketing profession.  She possesses a deep knowledge base in how to position and sell to lawyers and law firms online, and has held senior positions at one of the most prestigious legal technology companies, prior to forming Captivate Communications.  She has held several senior-level positions in major corporations, including Director of Product Marketing.  

Nicole has her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an undergraduate degree in communications.

Monica Rinkevich

Monica Rinkevich, Principal at Captivate Communications has extensive hands-on senior level experience in operations, marketing, finance, strategic leadership, capital development and M&A management. She is recognized as a change agent with strengths in both strategic planning and tactical implementation, and is adept at streamlining processes, improving efficiency and using technology to serve business needs.    Monica has held several high-level positions in major corporations, including Director of Market Planning and Director of Operations.   With both domestic and international business familiarity, the breadth of her industry experiences includes legal, software, healthcare and real estate. She has extensive knowledge in product management, business operations, as well as both pre- and post-acquisition management. 

Monica has also been a key business leader in a venture funded start-up company. There she was instrumental in growing the company, launching two complete software product lines and managing investment activities.  In her career, Monica has also worked with three Fortune 500 companies, as well as a Japanese television station.  

Monica holds a BA from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina and a Masters of Business Administration from The Georgia Institute of Technology.  She was an exchange student at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan and a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in South Korea.

Marilyn Canning

Marilyn Canning, Senior Consultant at Captivate Communications, possesses over 15 years of marketing and product development experience primarily serving the legal market.  Her expertise includes strategic market planning, marketing communications, research and competitive analysis, event planning and implementation, project management and product development.  She was responsible for developing and managing a number of successful product launches in the United States which brought together partners from major firms with corporate counsel.  She also has extensive experience in the development and market launch of a publication that enabled law firms to showcase their expertise to leading corporate counsel.   

Prior to joining Captivate Communications, she held several senior-level positions including Vice President of Marketing, Senior Director of Product Development and Circulation Sales Director at major corporations serving the legal and media marketplace.  Marilyn has a BA from the University of Illinois.

Gwen Harley

Gwen Harley, Senior Consultant at Captivate Communications, has over 15 years marketing experience, including external messaging and media management, internal sales communications, and market planning and development. 

Prior to joining Captivate Communications, Gwen held management positions at one of the leading legal technology companies, where she used her vast knowledge of the legal market to successfully promote online services to lawyers, law firms, corporate counsel and government agencies.
